The delicate brooches are designed by renowned embroidery master Nikki Delport-Wepene. She has over 30 years of experience and attended the Royal School of Needlework. She currently teaches freestyle embroidery at her studio in Hong Kong and worldwide. Nikki has published two amazing books, "Just Stitch/Embroidered Flora and Fauna" and "Delicious Embroidery."
Each piece is made by students at our Hong Kong Butterflies Embroidery Workshop at the Hong Kong Design Institute. We enlightened talented students on how to embroider and provided opportunities for these young talents to learn about the embroidery industry.
